We know it can get a bit confusing when talking about waterproof versus splashproof. So we are here to clarify a few things.
Splashproof means the item can withstand the effects of some splashing of water, such as drops of water from a shower. However, it should not be allowed to be made too wet with constant contact with water and definitely not submerged. If that happens this may reduce the battery life and cause internal damage to its components.
Waterproof, on the other hand, means the item is designed to withstand submersion in water. Just a reminder, be sure every part of the item is closed and completely sealed, with the casing prior to use in water.
